Geen Yight - She's Out of Sight: A Trip of Leaps and Bounds

Can you get him back in here for an important message?

Hi, Mr. Bossman, sir, :wave2:

You see, your employee has found herself this crazy group of friends who love all things Disney.
Especially Disney trips.
Which we are going on.
Like in a few hours. :tigger:

She needed to say a proper goodbye, so please excuse her for being off-task.

She didn't mean to ignore her work,
but the magic is just too powerful sometimes. :wizard:

Thank you so much for understanding,
and feel free to join us any time! :earsboy:

Silly, silly Mr. Bossman.....:confused3

I hope you all are getting a few Zzzzzzzs right now.
Some louder than others, but resting all the same.:rolleyes1
Fun times await you my friends!:cloud9:

I'm listening to Bella coughing inside and firecrackers popping outside. I'm hoping some other neighbor will run the kids off soon. I don't want to be the one to go ask them to please stop and then leave the house unattended for a week. Bad things could happen.

Bella has had a runny nose, icky eye, and now she's coughing. I hope the Amoxicillin will take care of all of that before we get going good on this trip.

Are you too excited to sleep???

Bella isn't waking up, thankfully. She's coughing in her sleep. It's not waking Brook up, either, so that another good thing.

It is great that they are able to sleep, and once you get in the car headed for the Mouse maybe you can catch a nap. I never sleep the night before Disney. There is to much excitement and to many plans for each day that I have to go over in my mind all night.

If I had slept even two hours tonight, I would never have gone back to sleep in the car. This way, I will be ready to zonk out and wake up several hours down the road. :thumbsup2 The car is loaded. We're slipping quietly out around 1.

Poor little puddin'! Glad both girls can sleep, though. Hope you can, too, once it's your turn. Fingers crossed that the amox has just the right pixie dust for Bella, so she doesn't miss one minute of Disney fun.

Happy travels tonight and Happy Fourth!

Clearly I missed something quite some time ago that I noticed while looking at Jill's FB pictures... What on earth happened to poor little Bella's finger?!?!? And is it doing better now??

She has quieted down for the moment. So have the firecrackers. I curled my hair, for what good it is going to do when I fall asleep on it in the car. Now I am just waiting the time out. I've been praying about and thinking of a friend who just got some bad news today about a second brain tumor. He's such a nice guy, and I hate to see him go through another round of surgery and radiation and such. I don't know that I would have slept much tonight even if it was a normal night.

Drew had one of his bikes upside down working on it. He had left it, but told the girls not to touch it. Of course, kids will be curious. Brooklynn starting spinning the pedals, and Bella stuck her finger in and got it caught in the chain. We thought they were going to have to take the tip of her finger off, as it looked awful and was flat as a pancake looking at it from a side view. Luckily, before they had even gotten a good start in the emergency room, it started 'puffing' back up. It was sore and bruised, but that was the extent of it. I think both girls have a healthy respect for dealing with bicycles now. :thumbsup2

It'll be a story she'll never remember, but we'll never forget! ;)

Oh my!!! So glad it'll be ok. Can't imagine how scary that was.

I just heard an alarm go off, so I guess Jill is getting ready to get in the shower and get herself good and awake. I'm going to close this laptop lid for the last time tonight and let her pick up on Facebook from here. Jill will put up FB pictures, and I will send phone pictures to some of you that can share them with others here. Pray for our safety as we travel on this holiday weekend. We are excited about sharing our Disney fun with you during and after the trip. See ya later!

And it is a really nice van too. brand new 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan with satellite radio and even the back up camera. I will be spoiled and not want to return back to my beloved 2004 Xterra. Only an hour left of work and then Bella and I will be headed to the house to meet Brooklynn and meMom and get ready for gymnastics.

I have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan with the satellite radio and back-up camera -- it's a GREAT car for trips (which is why I bought it in the first place ;)) Have fun with it this week!!! :goodvibes

:rotfl2:....you are the best! Too bad I didn't see this til this morning.
He wasn't mad...just likes to tease me about my obsession with Disney.
I tried to explain the DIS to him and he said "and you don't know any of these people" ...
I told him that even though we have never met we have become great friends.
I reminded him I will get to meet some of you on NYE and he said he was happy for me.
I told him I was going to add the scary face and he laughed, shook his head and walked away calling me nuts.:rotfl:

I told him he should be thankful I found the DIS because it relieves all mY stress from work which makes me a better employee!

Glad to see you all made it on the road (some a little sleepy) at a great time! :thumbsup2

Hope you can get a nap in the car so you will be fresh for your first day at DTD!

...for Bella. Hopefully the medicine will kick in and she will be better soon.

The van sounds amazing! Lexi has been bugging me to buy a van so she can have the DVD player in the roof.
A friend has it and she thinks it's so cool.
I told her her portable DVD player is better cause she can bring it anywhere...even on the plane trip to Disney. :)

I might rent one for our Orlando shopping/Sea World day if we fly down in September.

THANKS AGAIN BrooklynnsMommy for putting up the link! It will brighten up my days ahead!

:goodvibes SAFE TRAVELS! :goodvibes

I LOVE my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan...we have the satellite radio but no back-up camera (Jackie - you must have the newer model, I think they changed it in 2008.) It really is a GREAT car for trips and for everyday! We had a 2005 that didn't make it out of a bad wreck...but THANKFULLY I did!! :thumbsup2 That same day I told Ramon, we're getting nothing else than another Grand Caravan! A brand new 2011 must be niiiiiiiice! :cool2: Enjoy being spoiled!
