It's so sunny here that I got sun spots in my eats after looking out the window!! My poor eyes just aren't used to it!

(of course it's only in the 30s, so I'll take rain and warmer temps over sun...)

I was out cleaning my yard today and saw my Lily's are coming up! Lily's! That means spring! Still no life here. I was at the gap today with the 30% coupon that's floating around. Didn't get anything for myself though

I say this all the time
I teach
my kids go to a different district

I NEVER give homework on weekends and very little otherwise

DD10 has homework every night, tons of it
and on weekends

I always say "What kind of a teacher gives homework on weekends?"

Lots of it is busy work, which makes my skin crawl
huge word searches
math puzzles
coloring pages with math facts on them (that must be colored)

I laugh at teachers who give us homework on weekends.

Psh, we are high schoolers! Do they actually believe we will do the homework .. at home?!?

I usually do it 2nd period since I am too busy at home.


But this project is due tuesday and I don't want to have to do it all tomorrow.

I have the 40 vocabulary words from my book done, 2 pictures and explanations of the settings from my book, an obituary of someone who died from my book (3 paragraphs), I am halfway done with my collage of my book, I have to find 3 quotes or poems and explain how they relate to my book, and
then I have one more thing that I can't remember.



I'm watching the end of the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
This movie scares me for some reason
