Geaux Saints!!

As a lifelong Vikings' fan, I wasn't surprised by yesterday's game. The Vikings have been finding ways to lose big games since I've been a fan. 31 years of pain. :-( Good luck to the Saints.

How cool!!
Going to something like that to follow your team is the best feeling in the world!
I went to the (soccer) European Cup final to see my team Liverpool in what was dubbed the best final of all time and it was one of the greatest days of my life!

(Granted you're a bit luckier only having to drive down to Miami - I had to go from the UK to Istanbul in Turkey!!)

Geaux Saints!

:goodvibes

Since my Patriots tanked , I've adopted the Saints as my team for the rest of the season.
I'm so happy for the Saints and for the city of New Orleans :banana:

Geaux Saints !!! Win it all :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I am officially an Eagles fan, BUT...
being a Purdue alum, I have also been a Saints fan for as long as Drew Brees has been there. A very PROUD fan this season!!

Geaux Saints :cheer2: Geaux Drew!! :cheer2:

I am glad to see the Saints finally get there day. :thumbsup2

This thread scares me though, I have seen at least two post in this thread from people in Thibodaux, LA.

Drake Thibodaux ;)

I never thought I'd see this day. I grew up in walking distance of the Superdome and never had the urge to go to a game because they were so bad. Look at them now. I'm still in shock. Black and Gold in the Super Bowl! :cool1:

GEAUX SAINTS!!!

Having said that, the Saints showed they could be beaten, if not for the turnovers, in the NFC championship game.

They'll need to reign in the personal foul penalties and give the ball to Bush more if they wanna win it all.

Just sayin':rotfl:

(P.S. Maybe Favre will retire for good now)

It's great for the city that the Saints are in the Super Bowl. Now all they have to do is win!!!!!!!:dance3:

As painful as this is to admit for a NE fan if I had to choose between over rated Peyton and the Saints all I can say is
Geaux Saints! Who dat and all that stuff

Since my Patriots tanked , I've adopted the Saints as my team for the rest of the season.

I'm in a similar place, but more heavily inclined to the Saint's because Val is from Lafayette, LA; her brother has Saints season tickets; my best man when we got married lives in NOLA; and, although Val & I met at WDW, it was Mardi Gras that really cemented the budding relationship.

Many fond memories of NOLA in our life. Hoping to add another one. :dance3:

It was an amazing win!

Wish I could make it to Miami but I'll watch it on TV.

What a game!! I'll be heading down to Miami for Super Bowl Sunday. :cool1:

Ferris was sleeping, so I was jumping and dancing around the house without making a sound. Julie was proud.

Congrats, Corey! It was a GREAT game! I am so happy that New Orleans has something to cheer about after what folks went through during Katrina and after. Even now, I'm sure life is still difficult for many there.

Since our Patriots are not in it, I am more than happy to root for New Orleans. Enjoy the game! We won't mind if the podcast is late. ;)

Go Saints! Beat Colts!

Growing up and currently living in Northwest Louisiana, I grew up a Pittsburg Steeler and Buffalo Bills fan, because both Terry Bradshaw and Joe Ferguson are home boys. I'm not going to be one of those fans who use to have a bag over my head, though are now coming out of the woodwork as a long time Saints fan. I truly hope the Saints win and will be very disappointed if they lose. So Go Saints.

GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!

It's about time!! Whoo Hoo!!! :cheer2:

I hope Miami is ready for the WHO DAT NATION - Invasion!!!!

I think if there was ever a homefield advantage in the Superbowl, the Saints may have it this year... there will be more black and gold in that stadium than most people think. We have supported this team over 40 years of dissappointment, dont think that every fan with the means isnt going to make it to Miami. I know people who are selling most of their belongings just to buy a ticket. Its insanity.

I'm hoping to win a pair of tickets.

The Saints make a great story and if any other team were playing them I would cheer them on BUT I am a die hard Colts fan... I bleed blue...... My Peyton Manning bobblehead is sitting on the tv stand nodding his little head as we speak.........sooooo Go Colts

YES FINALLY!!!!! I ALMOST PASSED OUT WITH JOY. and my kids was like DAD you about to cry!!

I entered every contest I could find to win tickets to the Super Bowl. When that didn't work, I decided I was going to fly home to NOLA to watch the game with my family and friends. But then I looked at airfare, looked at my bank account, and changed my mind. :(
So instead, we're cooking up some old family recipies, having a king cake and other assorted goods shipped up, and we're gonna have our own Black and Gold Super Bowl party here in Minneapolis!
