GCV 2009 and 2010 points chart -- FINALLY!!

Did you guide know when members will be able to start making ressies and whether it will open in Nov/Dec '09? Wondering if they will also publish and '09 points charts (I assume pts are same except holiday dates...)
Also, did you break your contract up into smaller ones? What was the min?

They think ressies will start in March and opening is supposed to happen in November. I am hoping for a Thanksgiving weekend 2009 in a 3BR villa.

Interesting that ressies will start in March, when sales to other than founding members will not start until March 26. Maybe DVD does think it will sell out to founding members. -- Suzanne

When I bought, I was told reservations will start June 1 for a two week period to those who bought memberships in GCV, and then to those who have home resorts elsewhere. Also, that the expected opening date right now is Nov. 30. Of course, that is all "subject to change," but the June time frame seems more realistic to me.

Yes they do seem awfully high. I think though that a DVC will appear eventually at the Disneyland hotel and Paradise Pier and those points, since it will not be at a 5 star hotel will be more in line with the points at WDW. At least that's what I'm hoping for. Since I think it will be close to impossible to book at 7 months, since there are only 25 (?) studio I am buying here and thinking of using the points at DL or PP if they open at DVC in the future there which should be much easier to book if they build a tower at one of them.
