We added on a night to our GCH trip in Dec. GCH was booked that last night, so we got DLH premium concierge. According to board members, we can access the club lounge at 6:30 AM :). Our plan is to check in early, have breakfast in the lounge, and then go to the parks.

What I'm wondering about is what is best to do about our luggage (we don't have a car). Should we have it delivered by the hotel? Is there a way to do it yourself (don't want to take it through security)?

Thanks!

We did this last month during a split stay from DCA to DLH. If you want to move it yourself (we did) exit the front of DCA and use the walk way on the left to cross the street to DLH. This it the only way to take it yourself and avoid security. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk. When we got up to the concierge lounge, they told us we could have asked the bell desk to make the transfer so we will probably do that if we do a split stay again.

You can have the bell desk hold your luggage and transfer it to DLH when your room is ready.
