GCH DDD view and Fireworks?

If you book DDD view at GCH, what is your chance of being able to see DL Fireworks from your room? I'm planning a short trip for July/Aug, trying to decide if it's worth it to book DDD view. We've only stayed in Standard view, which has been fine, but wanted to try DDD view if we'd be able to see fireworks. We've got little ones and probably won't be in the park until midnight, so it would be nice to see them from our room when the kids are asleep.

Similar question, DLH, does Premium view guarantee you a fireworks view, or could you get pool view or something similar.

If you have a DD view at GCH, then you will be able to see the fireworks. Also turn the TV on to the fireworks station (it'll have the fireworks logo on it) and then you can watch the fireworks w/out missing the music. I did this the last time I was there and blasted the music while I was watching it from the balcony.

We were in room 4153 at the GCH in Oct. Here is the fireworks view and a view of the shops in DTD for a reference of room location.

Also, I do not know of any std rooms with fireworks view.

I was suppose to have a std view during the half marathon last year but was upgraded to a DTD view. They told me the std view rooms face the front of the hotel or the interior courtyard which I prefer because it's pretty quiet and you get to see the monorail go through the courtyard. No fireworks viewing from these rooms. BUT if you go to the end of the hall you can see the fireworks from the little lobby area windows but no music. The only other viewing areas in the hotel is from DTD rooms and from the concierge lounge. We also go to the center plaza in front of DCA to watch the fireworks, still no music but good views.
