GCH Craftsman Grill?

Had lunch and cocktails on Saturday with friends at GCH Bar. What a gorgeous day. Fun to be near the pool and hear the splashing and laughter. Never disappoints. We just love the servers there. Mikey was our waiter. He's always kind and attentive. And man, those nachos. We got the combo, chicken and beef and of course adult bevs. A glass of Far Niente Chardonnay for me, hubby had some kind of IPA, my GF had a lemon drop which looked amazing and her hubby had a mai tai.

The bar has an a much larger drinks menu and your getting full service with your dining. I would I compare it to going to Geyser Point at wilderness lodge. I had lunch at the bar side yesterday and it was nice to just relax outside in the shade. I ate in the grill about a month ago and the food was the same but for the prices it felt nicer to sit in the bar area.

It's a lot like Geyser Point, which is my favorite spot at WDW.

Is it usually pretty easy to get seats at Hearthstone Grill or Craftsman grill? Since we're staying at GC for a couple of nights I'd like to plan on eating at either of those places for breakfast and maybe dinner, but I'd hate to plan on it and then not even be able to get in. Or can you order food to go?

I've eaten at Craftsman Grill lots of times, but always off hours like 7pm or 2:00 in the afternoon so I'm curious how seating is at regular meal times.

We were there Friday night at 5:30 and could have had a table at Hearthstone but decided on Craftsman Grill instead. We ordered with no line and had a table for 6. There were other tables available. You can definitely get it to go from Craftsman Grill.

Oh, and it was ridiculously crowded at Downtown Disney that evening! Massive crowds and it was hard to maneuver and stay together.
