I have been looking for several weeks for apparel for Gay Days 2008. My partner and our two kids will be joining the event this year and wanted to have the annual logo on our shirts. I have found a few, but I'm not certain if it is the correct image and/or what the image represents. This would be our first event that we will have attended, so any information would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, the gaydays.com website has nothing specified about apparel.

Red is the color du jour at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday.

Other than that almost anything goes!

Are you asking for a slogan, or fashion advice?

http://shop.gayday.com/ is where you go to the "official" shirt.

Except that Doug hasn't updated that site since 2005!

We typically just wear red shirts, and don't worry about the "official" merchandise because there are so many competing entities trying to be the "official" promoters of Gay Days.

Still my favorite....

"I slapped Wheeza Beadreu!":lmao:

My gosh, all these new members, AND a post by Billy'sOtherDad!

Is this some special week or what?

Must be. Hahaha. I just figured I scroll on past this one too much and I needed to pay it a visit and see what's going on here.

And there is an awful lot to see. How else would I have learned that Dixie Stampede closed and I never once got to go. I guess I'll have to drag Rick all the way to Tennessee!!

1. When pigs fly.

2. Please don't use "Rick" and "drag" in the same sentence because (see 1).

Believe me - it is not worth the trip! Unless you like seeing the Civil War reduced down to just a friendly backyard BBQ competition?

Not to mention, there are horses riding around in an open arena kicking up dust and who knows what else WHILE YOU EAT!! :scared1:

(OT - got my pictures yet?)

and who knows what else...

That frightens me a great deal.

Do you mean to say that there was absolutely nothing at Dixie Stampede that had anything at all to do with just plain ol' country music and Dolly? It was all about a "rebel" thing??????

So it's the "Civil War" version of that Medieval Knights restaurant?????:scared1: Do they have confederate flags up inside there?

Actually - I have to say I do not remember if there were Confederate flags or not. I was having a real hard time getting past the "You guys are in the south section- which means you are gonna cheer for the south!!!" Huh? What?!?

To the OP - as a former CM at WDW. I have seen some amazing group shirts come through on Gay Days. I have seen some kinda tacky ones too. The main thread though is the color red. So pick out something that you and your partner like and just go and have a blast!

I have found a website that will allow you to create your own apparel for Gay Days. Since there currently is no designated design that I can find, make your own. The site is a sister company of Hanes.com so you know the material is sturdy. Go to Hanes.com and after creating an account, click on the "Hanes-design your own" link. There are lots of images and text options that you can use. I've got mine created and in the process of shipping.

Cheers~~~
