I've listened to Gavin on two radio interviews last week and he is NOT closing the door on Bush. Bush has no immediate plans but you never know..........

Neither can I - last week in Dallas they played a TINY club - it was fantastic -they did about half the album and it ROCKS. I've also heard an accoustic version of Ambulances from the new album and it is a great song and Gwen sings on that track.

Bush fans will appreciate this: one of the encores was Gavin playing accoustic guitar and singing GLYCERINE by himself............it was GREAT.

What a timely bump...Institute is playing here next a week from today, considering going to see them. Haven't heard any of their stuff...any comments? Worth going to see?

They were good, if you're a Bush fan you'll love them. I'm not a Bush fan--don't dislike them, just ambilvalent--but my friend who was at the show with me is a huge fan and loved them.

I saw Institute last night and had so much fun. The venue was great, the opening band (I believe they are called Big City Rock) was good and then Institute came out. Anne is right, if you are a Bush fan, then you will like Institute. Gavin is just as attractive as ever and there was a meet and greet after the show, so I got his autograph and a picture taken with him. There were probably fewer than 250 people at the show so it was all very intimate and great. Loved it.

Edited to add: they also sang 3 Bush songs: Everything Zen, The People that We Love, and Machinehead. Good times.
