As far as I know Disney hasn't released enough information to fully answer these questions. I've heard it will be a counter service, but can't be certain.

I wouldn't count on there being characters at Gaston's. It's not even confirmed that there will be characters portrayed by live actors at the TS restaurant, although it seems they're alluding to some sort of show that will take place there.

Hello! I have tried to find more information about Gaston's Tavern, but I am having a tough time. Is this going to be a character meal with Beauty and the Beast characters? Anybody know if this will be a buffet or what type of food they will be serving?

There will be two restaurants in the Beauty and the Beast area. One is Gaston's Tavern and the other is called... I think... Be Our Guest?

Anyhow, I believe Gaston's Tavern will be a quick-serve location - turkey legs and such. The other one is table-service. No one has said yet what sort of food it will serve, but just as a random guess I would say French country-sort-of food? Something that would fit int he Chateau atmosphere.

Wow, thanks for that link! The TS location looks awesome! My daughter absolutely LOVES Beauty and the Beast, so she will definitely be looking forward to this. Too bad we have to wait until 2012! I don't think I can wait that long

I know that there will be a lot of excitement about both new restaurant locations in the next few days (weeks, months, and even years).

Since everything is very much in the speculation and happy dance phase, one thread can probably cover both restaurants for now. Once we start getting more concrete information, we'll likely open another two threads to discuss each restaurant individually, and close this one.

I've just merged the two existing threads and changed the thread title to indicate the change in direction for this thread.

As we know there are plans to open a villains resturant in Fantasyland I just thinking what sort of food could serve. I think since its a villains resturant it should be like food that temper you with loads of devilous desserts what sort of food would you pick for a villains resturant
