There will be no Villains-themed restaurant. The "Be Our Guest" TS location will have performances in three different dining rooms. Gastons is a CS that won't have characters at all. They did say they would spice things up at the meet-and-greets with the villains of the princesses (something for the boys, they said), but there will not be a TS restaurant dedicated to villains the way 1900 PF used to have.

That's depressing, but I also love the idea of the "Be Our Guest" restaurant as well, so I'm not too upset.

That's the impression I got from looking at all the articles/links on the strategies board. The tavern looks like it will be awesomely themed (even with no villians ). The artist's conception of the "Be Our Guest" restaurant looks AWESOME! Right in the Beast's ballroom!! I cannot WAIT!

Oh it just must be a character restaurant!!! How cool would that be! I know that sometimes it can scare young ones, but if done right how awesome!

I think that it all depends on the CMs. We did dinner at 1900PF last year, and both kids (ages 2 and 5) enjoyed interacting with the Steps more than with Cinderella and Charming. Drusilla taught DD5 (who was dressed as Cinderella, btw) a funny way to pose for a picture, and she kept using that pose the whole trip!

I am excited about this, DH and I are planning our"deluxe trip" for our 5 yr anniversary (funny today is our 1st) and Id love to include this! Anyone have any idea what villans might be included? I wonder if it would be a buffett like CP or a family service type deal brought to table like CRT? Very exciting..

Nothing in the concept art or info. I read said ANYTHING about Villian's. Where did OP get their info?

As some PP's mentioned, the concept art shows the main TS restaurant "Be Our Guest" looking like a lovely themed full service restaurant themed after the Ballroom and Lumiere's "Be Our Guest" scene in the movie.

Gaston's "pub" or tavern next door is a CS eatery themed like his tavern hangout in the movie. Neither artwork nor descriptions showed or mentioned anything resembling a villian's character meal. (Unless Gaston shows up and you count him.)

While it would be cool to have Gaston and LaFou there (I might go if they were) based on the info out so far I wouldn't count on any characters at Gaston's.

A tavern with no beer really annoys me though.

No alcohol whatsoever is served in the Magic Kingdom (except at special events). I seriously doubt that's going to be changed as it's always been the rule.

It's a tavern in the movie, they're just sticking to the film's theme.

Hmm. I wonder if this *may* be the end of the MK being 'dry'. There's SO much profit to be made, I'm always amazed that the powers that be have not allowed at least beer and wine to be served at the restaurants.

I know that's a point of great debate that I don't want to stir up here, but personally we'd be all for it.

I'm aware of LTT. Gaston specifically drinks beer in his tavern.. that was my only point.

hey, I'd be all for Gaston's Brewpub. That would be great. They'd have to move it out of MK though. Plus Gaston himself, assuming he'd have real muscles.

In sticking with the movie's theme, and on a completely unrelated note, would this be the first attraction at WDW named after a character that died on screen?

Hello! I have tried to find more information about Gaston's Tavern, but I am having a tough time. Is this going to be a character meal with Beauty and the Beast characters? Anybody know if this will be a buffet or what type of food they will be serving?

From what I can gather, Gaston's will be a CS that is decorated like his tavern in the movie. The rumor is that it will serve rootbeer and who knows what else. The TS will actually be called Be Our Guest or something similar (I've also heard Be Our Guestaurant when the FL expansion was still in the rumor stage). The actual details of the TS as far as I know have not been revealed, except there was rumored to be a little show with dancing dishes, Lumiere, etc.
