Gaston damage

My husband is a building inspector for Hanover County, Virginia. He had to go around yesterday trying to locate any hazards there might be in the county. Here is just one picture that he took that is right down from where we work (I work for the county also).

goodness, I didn't realize Hanover had it that bad. The pictures of Shockoe Bottom are just crazy.

I was just blown away by some of the pictures in today's paper. It's so scary what water can do.

I live in Hanover, off of 301, but thankfully haven't seen any real damage close to my house

Holy Cow! I have seen some of the damage on the news.

I have seen some of the damage in the news and it looked terrible. There was one building that was flooded almost to the second floor with water gushing out of windows and doors.
