Gaston at Disneyland?

I have not seen Gaston at DL yet BUT definitely at WDW a few years ago at the Tavern. He was SOO funny!!! Very long line to meet n greet with him BUT mostly teenage girls & a few 20 something year old ladies !! At that time not too many little ones!

We found him Halloween, so not a recent sighting.

He does not sign cause that reminds him of books. And he hates books.

We met him at the tea Cup ride. He was harrassing Mad Hatter and Alice. It was a very fun interaction. I had drawn him and used that drawing to get his Attention. This interaction even continued in the afternoon in the Belle line when he showed up there and tried to impress Belle. It was ridiculously funny.

He was around last week.

We saw him several times the week of July 17th mostly around the Royal theater area just wandering.
Heads up on meeting Belle...she was never on the schedule during our week but was meeting once or twice a day usually in the afternoon outside the Fantasy Faire near the theater. Just ask the handler for Rapunzel in the morning and she'll tell you what time. Her comment to me was that with the new movie Belle's meets were so crazy that DL removed it from the official schedule, but she's still there.

Yaaaaaaas! We SAW him!!!

We were waiting in line to meet the princess at the Royal Hall and he came strolling down the castle path on his way to towards the royal theater.
Actually we "Heard" him before we saw him. He was yelling "Beeeeeellle!!" - looking for Belle, I guess, and flexing his muscles for pictures that girls (women) who were following him were taking.

We didn't actually get to interact with him because we were in line to go in the Royal Hall but we had a great viewpoint as he strolled around the Royal Theater area, posing and screaming for Belle. The funniest part was that his yelling was interfering with the show going on at the royal theater and at one point he even walked over and stood behind the audience and yelled "BOOOOOOO!!" at the actors lol! I was dying laughing at that hahahaha

Then he disappeared for around a corner and we didn't see him until a few minutes later - he was walking triumphantly and holding the hand of a confused looking little girl in a Belle Dress that he had "kidnapped" lol. The girl's mother was laughing and trying every so often to get her daughter back but Gaston refused to let her hand go so the little girl and her mother were kind of stuck following him around until a cast member was able to 'convince' Gaston that the little girl wasn't actually Belle and that the "Real Belle" was "Over there" at which point Gaston released the little girl and headed quickly in the direction the cast member had pointed yelling "Beeeeelle!".

It was hilarious. This was my 3 year old's first time to DL and Gaston is her favorite Male character. She was so happy to see him but I was glad she was wearing her Cinderella Dress and not her Belle dress or we might have lost our place in line lol.

Gaston has been hanging out in the Fantasy Faire / Red Rose Tavern area this week. DD17 had several interactions with him. He's very funny!

I am so excited to hear Gaston is still around! I got to meet a Gaston in TDL last fall and it made my day. I hope he's still around when I move back to LA in December!
