Gaston and/or the Beast

I have never seen them listed on the app, but someone posted on FB that they were in DL and interacted quite a bit with their daughter. Have you seen them? I see Belle listed once in a while but not often. Are there characters roaming who aren't listed on the app?

Just saw them yesterday (8/27/17) riding the carousel in Fantasyland.

I have seen Gaston roaming around, especially Fantasyland in the morning or around the Royal Theatre. I have never seen the Beast out except for parade/Fantasmic.

Edit: based on PP, I guess I was wrong about the Beast. I would expect him to be rare though.

We were there a couple weeks ago and saw Gaston several times mid-mornings wandering in Fantasyland and around the Royal Theater, even though he's not on the schedule. We saw him two or three times not too far from Red Rose Tavern and at least twice in the courtyard near the Royal Theater. My two teenage daughters both called him out and he did interact with them. Didn't see Beast.

I see Gaston, Beast and Belle nearly every visit. They roam in Fantasyland.

Nice! I have never followed the app for characters before- just wait times- so it's nice to know that not being on the app doesn't mean they aren't there.

You have a better chance of seeing them earlier in the day. As it gets later, many characters start leaving to join the parades.

I've see the Beast & Belle near the carousel this summer signing autographs and taking pictures with special needs children.

In June, we saw Beast roaming the walkway near Small World mall area. He noticed my husband's "every beast needs a beauty" tshirt and pointed it out, then pointed to me. Hubs let him know I was taken, and Beast pushed us together
