gas station close to MCO

I will be driving from OKW to MCO. I know where gas stations are near WDW. Where is a station close to MCO?

We take 417 to Boggy Creek, turn right, and fill up at the Circle K a mile or two down the road. Decent prices and very convenient.

Returning via I-4 East (northeast; watch your ramps exiting Disney) to 528 (Beeline) get off Beeline at exit 9 Tradeport, left and cross under, get into left lane for nice reasonably cheap gas station right at that interchange and you are 2 miles from airport.

Leaving the gas station (caution, it has two exits) don't cross back under but head the other way in middle lane, coupl'a blocks and right onto McCoy, you'll pass Payless, go to end (Semoran; 436), take right to enter airport or left to return Hertz or Thrifty cars.

HESS stations onsite at disney and Mobil and RaceTrac 192 near Celebration seemed to have the best prices for gas this week...when we filled up saturday at the mobil it was 1.895 Hess was a couple cents more....


even though we travelled about 50 or so miles after we filled up.....the needle was still on the full mark when we got to the airport.....this was an impala car .....your mileage may vary....


so you can fill up and still get the airport with a full "needle"

Be very, very careful about filling up around Disney or Celebration. We stay in Celebration all the time, and some types of rental cars will still be full if we fill up there and then drive to the airport. But others (most noteable Caviliers and Tauruses) will have the needle noticably down when you get back to MCO. See if the needle is still on F when you get to WDW...if not, don't risk paying $5 a gallon to the rental car company.

I was just in WDW earlier this month and the onsite Hess stations had lower prices than surrounding gas stations.

I've always filled up at the Boardwalk or MK gas stations and have never had a problem. It's pretty much straight highway miles from there.

If you are using the Beeline, then get off on 436 N. there are several gas stations within 5 miles of the airport. Pick one and get back on 436 S and go right into the airport.

I always fill up before I leave WDW, up (or down) the road from the Swan area.
