It has been $4.09 for at least a couple months, except for the week when they decided to price gouge us and it was $4.39. There was never any explanation for that one.

Here in Scotland we are currently paying the equivalent of $10 a gallon

I think that is the goal here in the US.

Just paid $3.89 but across the street it was $4.01.

I paid $3.94 yesterday at Bj's, all other gas stations are closer to $3.99.

$3.70. Five minutes down the road by the highway it's $3.95.

Anyone else change their driving when gas gets too expensive?

I've changed how far I will drive to shop, I very rarely go to target anymore. I try to stay within my city limits for most things I need. I have the choice of my grocery store, Bj's and dollar general to find what I need.

I filled up my tank (thank goodness I filled instead of my usual 1/3-1/2 tank) on Friday afternoon at $3.70/gal. Same gas station this morning is now at $3.95/gal! WTH?!?!

$3.69(9) for gas, not sure on diesel. BTW, 1970 prices adjusted for inflation would be around $1.35.

Go take a look for yourselves - when gas is cheap, the economy booms. When gas is high, the economy sucks. Our economy is dependent on cheap energy.

I sure have changed my driving habits.

I used to leave the house 3-4 times during the week. Now I just go out about twice a week. Carefully planned trips.

Amazing that there are not more complaints about gas prices.

Our gas is about $1.12/litre here in Calgary. Which I think is around 4.5/gallon

I'm will be filling up tomorrow and not looking forward to it! Last I checked fuel prices where close to $4.00 a gallon here in central Illinois.

Filled up this morning at Sam's Club for $3.55/gal. in Santa Fe. Bought a $100 Amazon gift card at Smiths/Kroegers this morning, so will be filling up two vehicles next week at $.50 off whatever the price will be.

Crazy as it sounds, I don't look. I don't want to know. I think around $3.80 for the gas I use.
