Actually, I do whine about the price of milk!! :cool1:

Depends where you buy it here. Gas is around $2,70 right now and milk at the grocery store is over $3 but at Costco is around $2.20

Well you are one of only a few people thatr I have heard of that do most people don't even think twice about it. same as buying a small bottle of pop we pay about 1.29 for a 591ML bottle of pop and don't complain about it but gas we all complain about. Now I realize that in my house we only get pop on 1 family movie night a month the rest of the time we have kool aid or juice or milk.

I voted milk...

we buy organic.

I have no idea what regular milk costs....but usually about half.....so it is a toss up between milk and gas then.

Milk is slightly cheaper here - looking at how much some of you pay for milk, it's no wonder the PA dairy farmers are having a hard time making ends meet!

A gallon of milk lasts us a week, maybe more. I certainly can't say the same for gas. Also, we can live just fine without milk but we'd be hard pressed to live without gas.

Milk is around $3.35 here unless I go to Sam's or Trader Joe's where it's less than $2 usually. But, I don't go to those places as often. I just got premium gas today for $2.96.

Today I saw gas at $3.15/gallon. Milk at the corner store is $2.29/gallon for 1%.

Well, as I live in the area that inspired the poll :teeth:

Gallon of Milk: $3.32
Gallon of Regular: $2.84

Gas is $2.87, milk is $2.99 ~ we go through about 7 gallons of milk a week here

Luckily this week it's on sale 3/$5 ~ whoohoo!! :cool1:

Regular gas, I paid $2.83 today, down from what it has been (over $3)

Milk here is around $2.99 at the cheapest places, can go to well over $3.

I do complain about the price of milk, and buy extra when groceries have it on sale for, say, $1.99. I have 4 kids and we go through nearly a gallon a day.

Still, we use more gas in a week.

I gripe everytime I go to the grocery store at the prices of things (literally while I'm in the store lol). Fresh veggies are outrageous here. $5.00 for 3 tricolored bell peppers! That's a little silly to me and with the draught here this year no one has even been able to keep up a garden for fresh veggies so we gotta pay the outrageous prices.

My wife and kids love Asparagus ( :earseek: ) I hate it but at certain times of the summer we get it for 1.00 a bunch and other times it is 4.00 a buch it is crazy so we only buy it when it is cheap.
