Gas is expensive

I know, tell you something you don't already know. As if the price per gallon isn't enough, you spend $20 for 6 gallons to get from A to B each week, some jerk has to rip you off.

DH has twice, in less than two weeks, had his gas syphoned. He drives a 1988 S-10 truck, nothing special, but it can be syphoned, whereas newer vehicles, like our '03 Grand Am, are designed to prevent gas from coming back through the filler (a safety contraption). In speaking with our neighbor, sounds like they got him too. He also has an older truck.

I spent $13 tonight to buy a locking gas cap for DH's truck. I wonder what the punk will think when he tries to steal some gas again?

We park on the street, but we usually are parked near our place. Our street is just a block long and a one-way. Typically not too much thorofare, but someone thinks they have found an easy target on two occasions - no more.

Here in Md. they reprogramed a pump and took it off line .
They then had people go to just that pump .Every thing was fine until there was 5 people waiting for that one and no one going to the other 7 pumps.When they checked it was down $2800

It's going to get worse real worse .
