The OP does have a city bus.. the 406 NJ Transit goes through Cherry Hill as well as other locales. Theres another bus that goes down Kings Hwy (453 I think), and another one that goes down Rt. 73.
The Patco train is a little more challenging, but not as bad if you are within walking distance of the train stations (Ashland, Woodcrest, Haddonfield-W. Cherry Hill, )
We won't even speak of the Riverline.. very convenient but Pennsauken is as close as you can get
I know when I was 17 I was given a car, with the strong expectation that I would pay for all repairs, all insurance, all gas, all towing charges, etc. I was working since I was about 12 years old, so this was a no brainer. Plus I was an honor student, perfect attendance, plus pulling down 1-2 jobs during high school.
By 17 I was out on my own, with my own apartment.
No job, no car... end of discussion. If you can't pay, you don't play.
