Gas at Car Care Center?

We will be renting a car at the airport to use offsite for several days, then returning it to the Car Care Center upon our arrival in WDW. Can we gas up at the Center, or should we stop at the Hess by Beach Club? A few cents difference in cost is not important to us, we'd rather save time by not having to make an extra stop.

You may not have a choice. I just read yesterday (I don't remember where I saw it) that the Hess near the Car Care Center is going to be closed for a while. I wish I could recall the dates, but I can't.

It's supposed to close sometime in August and not reopen until November or December.

So... is gas available at the Car Care Center? If not, where's the closest gas station to SSR/DTD area?

No gas at the Car Care Center. There is one across from Pleasure Island, it is a Hess station.

There is also one near the entrance to Boardwalk

And the prices at all 3 Hess stations on Disney property are the same anyway, at least everytime I've looked.

and the gas price on property was cheaper than near crossroads - 2.88 a gal last week which is cheaper than here in the northeast (massachusetts).

We filled up yesterday the 13rd at the Hess across from DD and it was $2.85 for regular, cheaper than off proprty!

I got gas yesterday near Framingham for $2.89/gallon and there is a station in Wayland selling gas for $2.83/gallon.
