here is my recipe, it's a blue cheese recipe! perfect to pair with pasta or steak or veggies! :)

My Blue cheese-garlic bread recipe.

Level: easy
Time to make-prep: 5 min. max.
Cooking:10 min -15min.

Ingredients:

1 cup blue cheese crumbles
1 cup parmesan cheese
½ cup of Pine Nuts
2 table Spoons of butter
Olive oil
Pepper-black (crushed or grounded)
4 pieces or “teeth” of garlic, peeled and diced small
Pre-made pesto
French bread

How to make:

Cut French bread long ways in half. Spread butter on both halves-enough to just so cover the bread. Do this same procedure with the pesto. Sprinkle some of the diced garlic on one half, then the other remaining on the other half. Sprinkle pine nuts some on one half and the rest on the other. Add parmesan to one half of bread, then the remaining to the other half. Then lightly drizzle in a zig-zag way olive oil on the ingredients you have already put on the bread (do this to both sides). Add blue cheese crumbles, half on one side and remaining for the other half. Drizzle a bit more olive oil to both halves of bread and then had crushed black pepper, grinding it on to the topping is best advised. You just want a small amount of pepper-the bread is not supposed to be spicy.

Bake bread at 350* at 15 min. you will know when it is done as the blue cheese on top will get slightly golden brown and the edges of the bread are also brown or dark brown.

Cut and serve!

Does this work with other cheese? We all are non-blue cheese eaters

For the grilling folks, this is what i do:

1/2 cup virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Salt
1 loaf Italian bread, sliced into 1/4-inch slices
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Directions
Preheat grill to low-medium heat.

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, basil and salt. Brush both sides of the bread with the olive oil and garlic mixture.

Place the bread on the grill and grill both sides, until golden and crisp; about 5 minutes. Sprinkle the top with cheese, cover the grill and cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve immediately

This is a bread machine recipe. I've done it with Italian seasoning (as shown) and I've also just used only garlic powder instead. Recently I also added several mashed up cloves of roasted garlic to the dough. Yum!!! :teeth:

Italian Bread Pull Aparts

3¾ c flour
¾ c water
2 ¼ tsp yeast
½ c milk
2 Tbl sugar
2 Tbl vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
1 egg

Use dough setting on bread machine. When ready, turn on floured surface. Gently roll or stretch dough into 20” rope – divide into 16 pieces. Roll each piece into a small ball.

Italian Seasoning
6 tsp melted butter
2/3 c grated parmesan
1½ tsp Italian seasoning

Roll each piece in melted butter then Italian seasoning mix. Layer coated balls in greased 2½ quart casserole. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled (~ 30 min). Bake 30-35 minutes or until brown.
