GardenGrocer vs WeGoSHop

Okay...we're arriving at WDW 8/11 (DD 23yr. old and myself). We want to order somethings because even though we're on the DP we will be there until 8/22. We mainly want to order some Mike's Hard Lemonade for our late afternoon treat and some water and snacks. Which place would be better to order from? I see that Gardengrocer has a $40 minimum and a delivery fee and that the alcohol can't be included as part of your minimum. And WeGoShop has a $17 shopping fee plus a delivery fee (not sure how much that is) but no minimum. I don't want to spend a fortune on groceries but feel there are some things we would like to have....or would it just be cheaper to buy things at the resort? Do they even sell Mike's???

I have not used either yet, but planning on WEGO, from what I learned here, both are very good. Wego, though will use coupons, shop around and pretty much get whatever you need for the best price. garden grocer has set prices.

Both will get your alcohol purchases. At Garden grocer just add to comments section. They may ask you to fax ID though.

Not sure about Mikes, but a six pack a beer is about $18 at the resorts!!! I think you are better off ordering!

The total fee for WeGoShop is $17 for up to $100 order. There is not a separate delivery fee except for a tip to the delivery person.

I thought it said on the WeGoShop website that it's $17 to shop + delivery fee...has anyone used them recently and was there 2 fees? It also says that if they leave the items with bellservices they charge a 10% gratuity. I don't really except to order all that much so I'm just wondering if all the fees are going to be more money than what I'm actually ordering??

It is $17. for delivery & shop + cost of items purchased.

Since I'm also ordering alcohol, it seems I have to be at the resort when the items are delivered. Have to show ID.

I also only need a few items, however the wine/beer prices at the resorts seem very high. Added water, juice etc. Less stuff in my luggage.

We are going with wegoshop, too. We will be there for delivery because we are paying with cash (and this will save us that 10% charge, too).

Cool idea to use wegoshop and take DME instead of taking a town car service and do our own food shop.

I used wegoshop a few years ago and it was great. I recommended it to family who used it last year and they also had nothing but good things to say about it. I have no experience with garden grocer, but 2 very positive recommendations for wegoshop. I thought it was very reasonable for what was offered.
