Can anyone tell me their experiences from here? I am planning on going here twice next year...once with my hubby, and once for a girls day out with my mom and SIL. Is there enough food for a guy to get filled? He's doing this because I love high tea, and is a little reluctant that he is going to get filled on "little sandwiches with the crust cut off". Can a 4 year old energetic little boy enjoy this, or should we leave him with his Pappy when mommy, and gramma and I go? Any opinions and/or stories would be greatly appreciated. ;)

I went last year with a girlfriend. If you husband doesn't want to eat little sandwiches and pastries off delicate floral china in a Victorian tea room on tiny tables, he probably wouldn't like it. I am a light eater and it's plenty of food for me but some people don't consider it filling. The portions probably equate to half of a sandwich per person plus a pastry.

I would not take an "energetic" 4 year old to this. It's very quiet, many of the ladies dress up for it. The day I went there were no children present.
