The afternoon tea is listed under character dining on Disneyworld's website, but it's co-listed with the "My Disney Girl" tea party. I'm not interested in that one, just the regular afternoon tea. Am I correct that there are no characters at that one?

Thanks!

You are correct in that Afternoon Tea is without characters and ,incidentally, is a lovely experience.

Yes correct - the princess tea party is at 10.30 am in the garden view tea room.

Then every afternoon the tea room is open for afternoon tea no characters. You can order a set tea or a la cart. Do make an adr as it does seem to book up quickly.

Thanks for the info - I did make an ADR for it and it sounds wonderful!

I does fill up quickly!
I have a reservation, but keep trying to make it a little earlier. I check and check and check, and nothing. Then one day, I checked again, and there was a time!!! It was 15 minutes AFTER my reservation, so it didn't do me any good, but at least it was there. But I guess someone took it, because now there is nothing for the entire day.
I haven't done this before, but am really looking forward to it - Hope you have a great time at yours!

Glad you got your ADR !
Now, enjoy !

NOTE: The "Tea" is in a gracious atmosphere overlooking the
pool and gardens of the Grand Floridian. A relaxing way to put
a civilized break into a hectic park day. Always a low noise
level, with seldom any loud talking. The only negative for the
true tea aficionado, is they serve only Pekoe (BOP or OP) for
non-green tea, otherwise the quality rating would be an "A".
Reservations are almost a must due to the low volume of seats.
We do it 2-3 times yearly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
