Hey!

If you've eaten here for the character dinner, did you like it? Would you do it again?

Thanks!

Hopefully you'll get more replies than my question about it yesterday did (as in zero).

Hey Heather,

I got a repsonse from another place I'm a member. They said it was terrible. They're dh thought it was totally inedible and with only two characters you feel disappointed.

:)

With the DDP I think it has limited the number of folks lately who may have gone there.

Sorry!

I just ate there on October 26th and we had a great time. Friday nights it's a seafood buffet with Timon and Rafiki. There weren't many people there at all, and we had TONS of character interaction. (the whole reason we went was for Timon!) I ate my weight in crab legs, which were pretty good. There was a nice seafood soup (it was called something besides "soup") that was full of crab claws. I honestly don't remember the other food there that much, but my mother ate more of a selection than I did and enjoyed it. (my little girl and I were just fighting the crab legs. :)) The desserts were DELICIOUS! They had these lemon jello shooter type things, and some fantastic little chocolate cakes that were so light and yummy. We're going back in January, because we can't get enough of Timon! (he came to our table about three times, and stayed a long time each visit)

The server told me that Sunday mornings they have Chip & Dale, and that another evening (Wednesday?) they have Goofy (and Mickey, I think?) But that night is Southern buffet, and since I AM Southern, I really didn't want that.

They now JUST have a buffet, no other menus.

I ate there in 2002 for dinner and it was very empty. Goofy pretty much sat with us for alot of the meal so it was fun. DD was 18 at the time so it wasn't the same as having a little one but there was a little girl dining next to us and she also got lots of Goofy Time and seemed to really enjoy it. As far as I remember the food was good.
