We're going to Disney in September with an 8-month old and 2 1/12 year old. We'll be checking one suitcase and have three carryons plus a diaper bag. We're thinking of doing Garden Grocer, but will not be ordering enough for free delivery. Here are the items I'm thinking of getting:

Styrofoam cooler (possibly 2)
2 24-packs of water
diapers
disposable bibs
baby food (stage 1/2)
peanut butter
jelly
bread
kid snacks (teddy grahams)
1/2 gallon of milk
dish detergent (for washing sippy cups)
One 8-pack of pre-made baby formula bottles (daughter is nursing, but I'd like the freedom to leave her with my in-laws occasionally)

My question is which of these items I should buy from Garden grocer? Should I ship some (or bring some with me) and buy others? Is it worth it or should I just get them all from Garden Grocer? We have QSDP, but my son won't be old enough and I want to have some PB&J for him for lunches. Should I just get any of these items (like the milk) directly from the Disney gift shop? What's the price difference? Do they sell pre-made bottles of formula (we won't need a full 8-pack). Am I missing anything I should be buying?

Thanks!

We have used Garden Grocer for our last two trips and have loved it. I usually have them bring mostly cold foods, with some other things thrown in.
I checked their prices for things on their site and decided what I wanted to bring and what I wanted them to get. We drove last time so it was easier for me to bring stuff. I brought my own diapers, wipes and disposable bibs as well as some chips/snacks. I had gg get cereals, pop tarts, milk, juice, fruit, 2 liters, bread, and other stuff.
I think it was only $12 delivery fee plus tip. I love having them pick up stuff for us instead of having to use my vacataion time at the grocery.

We used Garden Grocer's in March. They were great. Everything was exactly as described on their website. We ordered lots of fruit and stuff along with items for snacks/sandwiches, drinks etc.

We had a fridge from a swap. It wasn't the biggest but it certainly came in handy. We managed to squeeze everything in.

Decide what you might want to have on hand and what is not available on site. They have limited choices and it does depend on the resort you are staying.

It is very easy to spend the $40.00 miniumum. We have daughters that want to eat every few hours and it would have cost us an absolute fortune at the parks. We brought fruit, veggies and fun stuff with us to the parks. Big money saver.

Even if we had to pay the delivery fee, the convenience was well worth it.
We checked into our room, went to pick up our fridge and the groceries were delivered while we were out. If you have anything that needs to be kept cold, luggage services will keep it in fridges until you arrive in your room.

Have fun!!!!

We used them in Feb and I got so mad at them. I wanted them especially so that I could have diet pepsi since DW has coke everywhere. Well, they forgot to put it in the order which didn't come until pretty late in the day. When I called them they said they'd bring it the next day, but we'd be at the parks all day so that made 2 days without it. Nope they wouldn't make another stop that day and they had also messed up my bill. It took me almost 30 minutes on the phone getting it corrected. I told them to take off the tip once I was finished with the phone call.
