This is usually our favorite character meal. We love the good food, family style.. less crowded feel and classic characters.

Is this still a great one to do, or do you have other favorites that we haven't checked out yet?
We'd prefer no buffets.

Thank you for any suggestions!

I love Garden Grill, though I prefer breakfast. I love the characters, the food and the location. Our last trip we did the crystal palace and was disappointed. Only met 3 characters in 90 minutes

My daughter and I did Garden Grill last year for lunch in Aug, and the food and service was great. We are doing it again for lunch this Aug 1 on our transfer day from BWI to Poly.

Well, I don't know which ones you haven't checked out yet. Most character meals, including my favorites, are buffets.

I haven't been yet, but I've read good reviews of the Bon Voyage breakfast at Trattoria al Forno (which is a la carte).

It is one of my DW's and my favorite. The food good and plenty and the characters are typically engaging. We ate there last Aug, and my eat there again this Aug.

Garden Grill is our favorite character meal in WDW. We always do dinner there each trip. For our upcoming trip, we actually booked both breakfast and dinner. We love how relaxing it is.. we always request a booth, they feel a bit more private. We love that we don't have to get up and get our food like at a buffet, and it is always delicious. We aren't big fans of buffet/AYCTE dinners, but this one is a must for us and has been for years.

Garden Grill is one of our go to favorites but the only charactermeals I can think if that are good is Tusker House. Great character interaction and even better food. I just thought of this but you could try the Stitch breakfast at the Poly.
