Hi. My daughter is now 20 and will never wear the clothes she has stored in my attic again. My other dd is only 9, can't see having all those clothes in there that long! Besides they are different shapes, etc.

I haven't a clue on how much to ask for jeans, sweathers, t-shirts, etc.
Help?:confused3

Thanks!:lovestruc

It really depends on the brands. Are they name brands that teens like (Hollister, American Eagle, etc..)? Instead of a garage sale, you might list them in lots (maybe 3 pair in each lot) on your local Craig's List. You can get $10 for name brand jeans. You'd get even more if you listed them on ebay, but you'd have to pay listing fees whereas it's free to list on Craig's List.

I don't have experience with selling teen clothes at garage sales, but I do know from the sales I've had, I mostly get people asking for size 10 and under, probably because teens are more picky and really want to see/try on what they are buying.

I'm sure the answer to your question but if you have clothes left after your garage sale, you could take them to Platos Closet. http://www.platoscloset.com/ Here is the website to see if one is near you. My friend took some clothes there and was pleased with the amount of money she received for her items.
