Gap sizing question?

I have never ordered anything from Gap for myself...always has been for my 2 kids. My questions is how is their sizing? I am wanting to get myself some new sweaters and long sleeved tees for this winter and was wondering if their stuff is really "fitted or tight"?

The "favorite ts" are fairly fitted. They are definitely not loose tshirts. I am 5'1 and 110 pounds and I wear between a S or an XS depending on the shirt. They definitely used to run a little differently.

I have worked for Gap for the past 18 years. This is the first year in a while I feel like they are making things/sizes that aren't for 16 year olds that are a size 2. I just bought the new softest long sleeve T's and I love them!! I also love the new thermal T's! They are a bit longer which I like so when I bend over I am not exposing anything. I used to always buy large T's, but I think I could have done medium this time around. I always need a little more room in the chest.
Maybe they have finally figured out that women in their 30's cannot wear those tiny fitted t's. I always say if you're in between sizes...go bigger. It's better to be a bit roomier than too small.
