Gander, NFLD anyone?

Hi!

I have a cousin moving to Gander in a couple weeks. He's young, (22) he's cute and he has a job as a pilot. He doesn't know many people or have anything to get started. (he has a place to stay for two weeks).


anyone who can give me any good information about this area?
Places to live and stuff like that. He's moving from Kitchener so he's going to be far from family. He's looking at it as a great adventure but it all happened so fast!

married a search and rescue pilot and he was stationed in Gander for awhile, they moved back to Ontario and then BACK to Gander. They LOVE it.
From what I understand, it's a slower pace, beautiful place to live. I'm sure he'll enjoy it!
