Games in the car

For years we have played Disneyworld trivia while driving to WDW. That really gets us all in the mood. Everyone takes a turn ("What rides do you stand in?" "What rides have a cast member along with you?" "Where can you buy turkey legs?") Everyone can play this one!

Now that we've started cruises a bit more, we will be doing that on the way to the dock. We even practiced this week for our drive next month ("What deck is the theater on" "Name everywhere you can get something to eat" "What characters are onboard").

The best part is that we're all equal in this one, because any age can stump the rest of us. Fun!

we play our own "disney game" my DH and DD have the gift of remembering lines from movies - so we start with a two word phrase and build one word at a time until someone correctly guesses the movie. I, on the other hand, have a poor memory so when I guess correctly and have to come up with a line it's usually pretty easy like "nnnooo touchy!" or "spoonful of" LOL

we also do this with School House Rock songs!!!

I just received the LLBean Traveler's catalog (specific to travel stuff) and they had these awesome magnetic Scrabble, Yatzee and one other game that I can't recall). They came with their own carry case and the pieces did not fall out. They looked pretty cool and a great idea for plane, car, cruise use!!!
