Games in line...

Another thread sparked an idea in me.
Let's post our favorite things to do while we are waiting in lines. I'm sure we all have a lot of fun things that we do...

I'll start.....

(Nothing fancy) We play the "Going on a picnic" game. I'm sure you have played this one before. You say "I'm going on a picnic and I'm bringing apples" and then the next person says that but adds the next letter. When you can't remember them, you are out. It's fun to do because it passes time a lot quicker and other people standing by you will usually drop in their ideas when you are stumped. We have made a twist on it sometimes. Adding funky/silly things which makes it really hard to remember.

We like to look for things we have never seen in the queue before. There is always something new to spot!

We play 20 questions, (disney themed of course) or I spy. If all else fails my dd love to look at the maps and figure out where to go next.

We play the "Name game", one person starts with any famous person and then next has to name another famous person with the first name starting with the first letter of the person's last name.

Here's an example:
Drew Carrey
Carmen Electra
Elijah Wood

We've played this for days and days. You are allowed to use your name once (because we are all famous in our own minds) and people who only have one name, then you use the last letter of their name. So after Cher, the name you choose would have to start with R.

We mainly just people watch in line, and look around. Just being at DL is pretty entertaining enough for us! LOL

Either i play my games...with whoever is with me, of course , Or if its someone new to disney or doesnt know alot about it, i tell that person interesting things about disneyland that they may have not known before, as we come across it. Club 33 , walts eternal light in his window , PotC is really the old mans dream , ect.

We are the ones chatting with everyone else in line. Sometimes we meet some great people, other times we get looks like we're crazy for talking to them. But we dont have any games we play, I do have milestones in the queue though. Hearing the ride is a milestone and the other is seeing the ride. Once I can see the track I get really excited.

We play name that tune - albeit with barking instead of humming since it entertains my 2 year old.

Also don't forget about the hidden mickey's. My niece and nephew got a kick trying to find them.
