Gameboy Acivity at WDW

So on one of the shows on the Travel Channel, those people were using a Gameboy Advance to do that activity around the parks... like games, what rides were open and where characters were. Does anybody know if they are doing this. I think that it was just an experiment but I am not sure.

Ok on this show on the travel channel, one of the couples that they followed used their gameboy advance and rented like a "game" from WDW. Well, it was a program that you leave in your gameboy and it lets you play games when you are in line at rides, it tells you where characters are and what rides are open. I don't know if they are doing it now or if it was just an experiment. Sorry, I hope that clears it up.

Yeah. I read a story about it. Somewhere.

It is a lot like Pal Mickey. It is just what you described it as. IT is still in its testing stages, so I don't know so much about it.

The article was bashing it b/c it had a GPS in it so the cast members would know where you are.

Yeah I heard of that too, it's probably still testing and will be available at a latter date.

I've read about this as well.
Its for the Nintendo DS which has Wifi capabilities and for a while they even sold a web browser for usage with it but stopped in the US due to lack of interest. Its pretty big in Japan though, I wasn't suprised when I heard about this due to how popular the DS has gotten. They'll probably start selling them for Tokyo Disneyland/Disney Sea, they'd sell a lot more of them.

It makes sense if it's for the DS because the Gameboy Advance doesn't have wifi.
