Galleria Palms Orlando

We just got back and the Galleria Palms was a ok place to stay. The rooms were clean and the maid service was good. Although she didn't vacuum the floor every day. The rooms looks exactly like they do on their website. The continental breakfast in the morning was ok. One day they had eggs and sausage and the next day they had bisquits and gray. Although the gravy was cold. They were not able to keep up with the crowds and they were always out of something and it would sometimes take them awhile to get it refilled. When we got there, we checked into our room and they gave us a king bed instead of the 2 queens I reserved. I had to argue with them about the fact that I didn't get what I reserved and they eventually got us a 2 queen room and let us have it for the entire week like I reserved. They also tried charging me $119/night instead of the $105/night like I reserved, but they did give it to me for the cheaper price once I brought it to their attention. The pool isn't heated and there's no hot tub. It looks like this hotel is a renovated Hampton Inn. Upon checkout they never asked how our stay was or said "thank you" for staying with them or anything. It was a nice hotel, but I won't be using them again

Thanks for the review. Did you know that the pool was not heated before you went? That would have ruined my trip!

Honestly I never even thought of that. Last year we stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites and it was heated so it never even crossed my mind that this wouldn't be too. The pool is fairly small so I bet it wouldn't take long to heat up, but it was getting down into the low 40's at night so it really kept the water cold. I will definately keep it in mind for our next trip!
