Gallbladder surgery....UPDATE!!

Well, I did it. Had my surgery yesterday and came home this morning. Feeling VERY SORE but all in all the experience wasn't so bad. Anesthesia was just as you all described......very quick feeling of falling asleep and waking up almost immediately. Imagine my relief when I realized it was over!

Just wanted to take the time to thank all my DIS friends for their prayers and good thoughts.......your words of encouragement were priceless to me!!

Now one more prayer......I leave for Disney in two weeks and the soreness I feel now is HORRIBLE!! Please assure me that I will be feeling better soon!! My surgery was done by laser so I've been told I should heal quiclkly.....God I hope that's true!!

You will feel much better in a week and by 2 weeks you won't even remember you had it! You might have to take it a little slower but you will have a great time!

So glad to hear you did well. No REST for a couple days. Follow the doctor's orders and give yourself time to heal. That and eating well, drink lots of fluids and you will be 100% quickly.
