I just ordered the stuff for my pocketfold invites! Yay! I know it's early but I figured I could work on them here and there on weekends and stuff.

Day 2 : Planning Session Day Part 1

So we all sleep in until about 11:00AM because the nephew decided to scream his head off all night and we didn't sleep at all. We ate at the cafe in our resort and me, Ian, Robyn, and Aunt Kathy took the monorail. We got off at the Grand Floridian and walked to Franks, which took only about 5 minutes. Dave and Jimmy took their car to the Wedding Pavilion because they wanted to go back home from there. So here's some pictures we took on our walk over there.

So we waited for Dave and Jimmy arrive and here they come!

So now that we're all together we decided to head in so we get seated to a room off to the side and wait for Michelle to arrive. She arrives and offers us drinks. Now that we're seated we discuss everything. By everything I mean our menus, bar package, songs, transportation, guest accomodations, cake, etc. Then I asked her my 7 pages of questions followed by cake tasting. Here's some pictures.

So we taste our cake while Michelle disappears for 5 minutes or so and she comes back with this.

With a lit candle and sang happy birthday to me. How sweet!

So for our cake we decided on a 2 tier mad hatter cake. First layer is marble with baileys filling and seconds layer is almond cake with ameretto filling. Yummy!

Then we "took a break" until our florist, Elizabeth, shows up. So we decided to show Jimmy, Dave, and Robyn the Wedding Pavilion because they haven't seen it yet. So we took some more pictures.

So we came back after 5 minutes or so and Elizabeth was waiting for us. It was very quick speaking with her because I only needed petals and linens. I decided on half bubbles and half petals for the exit. I also put table runners on the standard white linens and standard linens with the red sheer overlay swaged.

They said I'll be getting the BEO in a few weeks. Once I get that I'll be posting it online for you folks to see.

Day 2 : PS Day Part 2

So after the PS, we said goodbye to Jimmy and Dave and we headed back to our room with Aunt Kathy, Robyn and Caden. I took a cat nap because my Anemia got the best of me. After that we went to Downtown Disney for more shopping because Aunt Kathy and Robyn didn't want to spend money on a park ticket for half a day. So we did some shopping. I bought a candy apple so I could eat it while watching Wishes on the balcony at our room. So we convinced them that they should eat dinner with us before they hit the road. Every where was over an hour wait to eat so we headed back to the Contemporary and tried Chef Mickeys but they were booked so we ate at the Cafe, said our goodbyes and headed our seperate ways.

So we headed back up to our room and I get comfy on the balcony and started eating my delicious candy apple. Before I know it I'm done eating it and still no fireworks. I checked the time and it was now 10:00. I'm thinking to myself "Crap! I bet we missed it." So I check the little schedule they give you in your welcome folder and sure enough. Fireworks were at 8:00. I was not a happy camper at that point. So I shower and pass out.

Up next... Did I miss my hair and make-up trial?

We got our pocketfold invite supplies! Yay! I just have to go get some white card stock and glue dots and I'm ready to start making them!! I'm so excited. Invites only cost me about $60!

No problem. I'm glad to help anyone. I like posting my BEO because I know before I got mine I was always looking at other bride's BEOs looking for an idea on how much my wedding will cost.

So while DF has been playing his COD:WAW I've been a busy bee today. I worked on an invite mock-up and I'm not to sure if I'm satisfied. I'm going to try and make another style tomorrow. I also made my unity candle today! Yay! On to the pictures...

Every once in a while right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale.

I did it with vellum, glue dots, and ribbon I had on hand. Super easy and only took about 20 minutes to make.
