I just got my wedding dress and crinny dry cleaned... $125. Good lord. My dress was only $50. The dry cleaning was more than the freakin' dress.

 :cool1: Yay for 6 months!!!!! :cool1:

It's a scary feeling isn't it? When I hit it, it dawned on me that I have nothing done!!!!!

I can't believe the dry cleaning was sooo expensive! :scared1:

So I've been debating on serving signature drinks or not. I'm having the Beer and Wine package w/ Call Brands. So I've been looking for alcoholic beverages with alcohol that are already in the bar and I've found a few recipes.

Blushing Bride
2.0 oz Lemon Lime Soda
2.0 oz Cranberry juice
3.0 oz Orange juice
1.0 oz Skyy Vodka
Build vodka, soda, orange juice. Add cranberry juice to the top so it flows down the drink. Garnish with a cherry.

Lemon Drop Martini
1 1/2 oz Absolut® Citron vodka
1 tsp sugar
1/4 lemon
Slice the 1/4 lemon into two separate wedges. Place in a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Pour the Absolut Citron into the shaker, and add one teaspoon of sugar. Shake vigorously. Strain into a sugar-rimmed cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist, and serve.

I'm still looking for more. I just wanted to post these and share. I've emailed Michelle and she said we can taste them at the PS so I'll let you know how that goes.

Well I'm back ladies! I flew back in at 2:30 AM this morning. I'll unpack, grab a bite to eat, pick up Twilight on DVD ;), then start a TR. I had a great time! :cool2:

Day 1 : Departure, arriving, and first day there.

So our flight was with jetBlue at 7:00AM so we needed to wake up at 4:00AM for showers, pack last minute things, and eat breakfast. We left the house at 5:00AM and everything was a breeze from going to Newark, NJ to arriving in Orlando except for our bag tags. Now usually when we book a trip with Disney we get a package in the mail with the magical exress bag tags, vouchers, etc. We didn't get that so we had to print our bag tags on a reciept type paper and we had to carry it with us on our flight.

So we go to the Magical Express area of the Orlando Airport and realize that our bag tag number kind of rubbed off and it was unreadable. So the gentleman that helped us at the desk told us that it may or may not be an issue. We describe our luggage to him (which was only one bag) and put it in his system. So he tells us to proceed to the Contemporary line for the Magical Express bus. We realize that the area was PACKED with high school, college, and cheerleading kids... all in the value resorts. They were all yelling and being obnoxious. So our bus arrive and we hop on. There were only handful of us on that bus.

So we arrive to the Contemporary and we proceed to check in. Now, when we booked our resort over the phone they told us all that was available were the side wings. The gentleman that helped us asked us if there was a special occasion and we told him it was our birthday and planning session trip. SUPRISE! We got a free upgrade to the main building on the 9th floor with a view of Magic Kingdom!

Day 1 : Part 2

So after we check-in we make phone calls about our free upgrade and rub it in as best we can because we're so excited. We took pictures on our cell phones and sent it to our family and friends. They were all so excited for us.

After that we decide to hit the parks. We decided on Magic Kingdom and get a bite to eat for lunch. So we ride the monorail and we noticed the parking lot was PACKED so we knew that wasn't a good sign. We get our tickets and get in the parks. It was insane. Main street was so packed you couldn't move, the typical wait for the rides were 90-120 minute wait, and all the resturaunts and cafes were booked and packed. The lines for the cafes were out the doors.

So we decided to go to Hollywood Studios which wasn't as packed but still pretty busy. We ate at a cafe and went on Star Tours and walked around. We wanted to hit up Rockin' Rollercoaster and the Tower of Terror but the wait was 90 minutes for both.

We were expecting company that night. Jimmy (Ian's cousin), Aunt Kathy (Ian's aunt who will perform the ceremony), Robyn (Ian's Sister), Dave (Ian's BIL aka Robyn's DH), and Caden (our nephew). So we headed back to the Contemporary and they met us there. We all decided we wanted dinner and went to T-Rex. The wait was only an hour but we stayed in the shop. It was really neat! Just like Rain Forrest Cafe but dinos instead. I got the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with waffle fries. Yummy! Sorry, no food porn. I didn't even think about it.

T-Rex! It was awesome with amazing food!

By the time we were done eating it was about 10:30PM and decided it would be best if we headed back to the Contemporary and get some rest. We knew it would be a long day the next day.

Up next... how did the planning session go?
