I found this is the sticky "1. Fastpass Exchange Cards for you and up to five members of your party. All members of your party must be present at the time of redemption of the certificate to get the Exchange Cards. The Exchange Cards are valid that day only and at that Park only. Fastpass Exchange Cards may not be available after 11:00am."

I have a few more questions.

1) FP exchange cards are for how many rides?

2) Do you go to customer service to get the FPEC?

3) Will the FPs be only for the park that you exchanged them at or can they be used at another park if you park hopped and it was still the same day?

Each person who qualifies as having done the volunteer work will get a voucher. If you are the only one to volunteer, you are the only one who gets the voucher. There are three of us in my family volunteering, so we each get a voucher. Then...
when we get to WDW, on the day we go to MK, one of us will turn in their voucher (let's say dd) and then each of us, all three of us, will get our own special FP for that day, in that park only. There is a description of how it works on another thread. But basically, the attractions in each park (most of them anyway) are put into one of two groupings...Donald or Daisy. The E-ticket attractions are the Donalds and the lesser ones are Daisys. You get to choose 2, but sometimes more, attractions in each of those two groups, to use your FP on. some have reported being able to choose 3 or 4 on the Birthday FPs...so that may be the same depending on season, day, or as Cheshire F already said..the phase of the moon.
Then, the next day, we head to DHS...I turn in my voucher and we each get a new FP..for that day, in that park.
Then, the third day, we head to AK, dh turns his voucher in...new APs for that day only, only at AK. The next day...we're on our own.
Each voucher gets you one park, on one day only..no hopping to use the same GAD FP in different parks.

Thank you for the reply. It will just be two getting the FP vouchers. I am thinking that we will use them at DHS and MK. I am having a hard time finding a place to volunteer so we may do the book on listed on the BB. There is some money involved but it will be minimal.

Does anyone know up to how many fastpasses you can get. For example for each voucher how many can be in your party to recieve the fast passes?

1. It varies by park, time of year, phase of the Moon and other incomprehensible criteria. However, they will give you a sheet of paper giving the rules for that day.

2. You go to the marked "Will-Call" window just as for any other use of the certificate.

3. What you quoted answered your question; see what I bolded above.

One voucher gives you up to 5 same day, same park FPs.

You may have misread...the answers have essentially already been given. One voucher will get you up to SIX Fastpass Exchange Cards, one for each person in your group (up to the max six).

Beyond that, it varies. We expect it is the same as last year's Birthday Fastpass. Each card is eligible to get X FPs in total for each of two groups of attractions. X varies by Disney's mood that day. Follow the link for the details.

Yes, I must have misread, I thought it was for 5 people, not six. My bad. :headache:

During the birthday promotion, were the FP ever available after 11 or did they run out by then?:confused3 We'd like to us the FP option on a day we'd like to hop and use it at the second park(EPCOT) which we'd hop to around noonish.

TIA

I have never heard of anyone being denied the FP cards before or after 11am. Doesn't mean it didn't happen, just that no one on the DIS or anywhere else I read reported it. On the other hand, we did have plenty of reports of getting them after 11am (not sure how far after), or even getting more than 6...

How long before park opening do the Will Call windows open?

I believe it is at least 30 minutes, probably longer.

Still a little confused by the total # of attractions allowed. Do you have to choose when you get the FP? Is it possible that you will only be able to use this special FP on 2 attractions? That doesn't seem worth it. We will be going over spring break & trying to figure how to best use GAD vouchers.

Well, we still have yet to see the final details, but you can follow the link in my signature and read about how the Birthday Fastpass worked, which is expected to be the same.

A number of FP attractions are divided into two groups - basically the "most popular" and the rest. You can get X FPs from the "most popular" group, and X from the "rest". There are at least two attractions in the "most popular" group, which depends on the park.

You do NOT pick the attractions in advance. You use the card like you would your ticket media to get an FP. You can use all "X" on the same attraction if you want.

Ok to confirm in order to get 4 GAD FP cards we will need to all 4 (me, DH, DD and DS) stand in the line at Guest Services and we will be given 4 cards. I canNOT stand in line for us (w/ voucher) and then meet up with them in the parks after I get the cards?

I am guessing GAD won't be as popular but we saw long lines at Guest Service/Will Call everyday of our trip this fall after we got home I finally realized that those people were probably waiting for Birthday exchanges.

You are correct.

Confirmed. Otherwise we'd all ask for 6 cards and just say everyone was "in the park", and then go ride Space Mountain over, and over, and over...

I can't believe we have no reports back yet here on the DIS about the FP's! It's driving me nuts, C'mon people! :rolleyes1
