GAD Fastpass Redemption

Is it possible to redeem the vouchers at Guest Relations before the park opens? If not and we are there for the rope drop, should we ride some attractions first and then redeem the vouchers?

Not at Guest Relations, but at the Will-Call window. This will be open at least a half hour prior to park opening and is a well-marked window.

I was wondering too, because we have a breakfast at CRT at 8am on a day the park opens at 9am and i figured we will probably have to leave the park to get the fastpasses. Anybody had any experience with this?

Although I'm not 100% certain of this, I would believe that at least the outside GR would have to be open before ANYONE can get in the park for early ADRs - otherwise how would those with early ADRs and will call tickets be able to get in for their ADRs?

At MK, the Will Call window usually is the GR window anyways.

We did this on Sat 2/13 at MK. We had an 8:05 ADR at CRT with MK opening at 9:00. We arrived at the main ticket entrance at 7:15 and were first in line for the will call window (which is to the right). Will call opened at 7:30; we exchanged 1 voucher for a ticket which we immediately upgraded and also exchanged 1 voucher for FP for our group of 5. Everything took about 5-7 minutes.

Next we went to get in line for breakfast ADRs - we were 2nd in line. Everything went very smoothly and I was happy to have it all out of the way before we entered the park.

Disney determines it. They don't tell us how.

So far, absolutely everyone has reported 3 since the GAD program started. Last year with the Birthday promotion, it was more variable.

I think they use a random number table, toss I-Ching sticks, and consider the phase of the Moon to make the determination.

Can someone clarify what is meant by "category" for the GAD Fastpasses? If there are multiple categories of rides, say three for example, would that mean that the GAD fastpasses would be good for a total of up to three rides in each category for a total of nine?

1) By "members", if you mean the people in your group that will be getting the FP Exchange Cards based on turning in a GAD voucher, yes, they must be present with their park tickets.

2) Yes. It is one of the two ticket booths.
