I have a very weak immune system right now from the Cushing's and all the steroids. I catch just about everything. I have had my seasonal flu shot and I just got my H1N1 shot today (it was the earliest I could get it...).
I am leaving Sunday for 5 days at Disneyland (and a trip to see my specialists).
I will be renting an ECV from offsite which will offer a small buffer from the crowds and keep me from touching railings, etc.
Is it acceptable for me to ask for a GAC for an alternate waiting location so that I am not crammed in a line with tons of people? If I get sick down there, at best I would have to stay an extra week or so (I recover very slowly), at worst I could end up in the hospital.
I have no problem waiting my turn and will be using fastpasses when I can. It's been about 18 years since I was last at Disneyland and I haven't used an ECV on any of my previous trips, so I'm still not sure how that's going to work, just trying to get my ducks in a row before I leave.
I've got clorox wipes up the yin yang and will be wiping down my seat on the airplane, etc. I know I can't prevent all germ transmission, that's not possible, but anything I can do to cut down the risk would be awesome!
Thanks!
