GAC on ebay - getting even

If you are so mad at people selling GACs on ebay you can always do something a friend of mine did who did not agree with selling concert tickets on ebay.
You simply wait until minutes before the aucion ends then put in a stupid bid - $1000000 - which will ensure you "win" the card.
Obviously you do not pay for the item. But by becoming the highest bidder, not only does it sabotage the sellers auction - he has auction feees based on your winning but, and also no buyer - but it also allows you to give negative feedback and allows everyone to see what a loser they are.
If you set up a special ebay account for this, it does not affect your feedback if they in turn leave negative feedback - which of course they are unlikely to do.
Even if they do leave negative feedback on your main account - who cares. Most other ebayers will understand.

You obviously don't know how ebay works.

1. If you are a non-paying buyer you can't leave feedback, if you do ebay will remove it on the sellers request.

2. Sellers only pay listing fees (which are minimal) on items which aren't paid for.

3. Please don't mess with ebay like this. If you do so repeatedly you can, and will be charged with fraud and other illegal activities--ebay will prosecute.

4. I look at overall feedback scores, I don't read each one of them. I block people with negative feedback from my auctions, and don't bid on auctions when people have negative feedback. You are only hurting yourself for something that's really not your business.

Just report auctions to ebay for items that are illegal or against their rules. It's my understanding that Disney is actively persuing these auctions and getting them pulled, just let them do thier jobs.
