GAC at the Water Parks Question

My partner and I are both obese, fluffy, Pooh sized, or just plain fat butted. Neither of us find the tubes in the lazy rivers at TL and/or BB to be very comfortable. We did however find a couple of similarly sized, but very comfortable tube like flotation devices that are more like a seat and are much better suited to providing us with a relaxed trip through the lazy river. Once inside the park at the point where we are ready to enjoy the lazy river we would inflate them, use them, and would be sure to take them with us when we left.

Would we be allowed to bring such flotation devices in for our own use? Is there any sort of GAC that would help us to do this? TIA

At the water parks we cannot issue GACs and we do not have any attractions which will allow for the use of GACs.

There are only exceptions to the no flotation devices rule.

An infant ring with a filled-in center with two leg holes to allow the infant to be seated in a vertical position may be used in the lazy river.

A flotation vest or shirt that cannot easily detach from the wearer is also permitted, as well as water wings.

It gets Very Hot, Very Fast at the H2O parks, and it is a LOT of high tall steps and lines....so if you think that will be too much, maybe skip the water parks Wishing you all a Magical Vacation!

Our trip to the waterparks at WDW are more about the wave pool and the lazy river. Neither of us are much into the slides, but we usually do manage to do one or two when we do go.

Does that mean that I could bring my DD her own USCG approved flotation vest? I know that we can rent/borrow her a vest at the water parks, but she has some sensory issues, and is slow to warm to new devices, so being able to use an identical vest every time might be easier for her.

I'd read the snippet from the website as implying that only WDW-provided flotation vests were allowed in the water parks.

We do allow personal vests. However, to use them on a slide they must have no exposed metal.

Thank you! That will make planning things easier. And since I'll have to buy a vest anyway, I'll just make sure it doesn't have any metal fittings.
