We got a snail mail letter from MaW yesterday... just letting us know they're working on our trip

Still no dates. Waiting very, very patiently...

It sounds like you're waiting just about as patiently as I am!!

Aww man! I keep hoping you will get a date soon! We have the paper work for a wish trip for the boys. I need to go get things copied off and mail it in. Life keeps getting in the way of that though! Actually what I NEED to do is pick up printer ink lol.

Really well - we finally figured out just the right combo of eating/sleep/drugs to keep Gabby from being woken up with nausea, so it's been a nice week with no pukies

Now go get some ink!

Our first choice was Spring Break, but apparently our chapter has weeks of major holidays blacked out?

Soooo... second choice was for after school ends. School for my older two gets out 6/21. I'm running the Seattle marathon scared1 6/23. Then the following week is July 4th, so.... we went with the next week, 7/12-7/18!

It'll be hot, but it's WDW.

I grew up in FL, so I'm already planning for the heat. YIKES!

Our wish coordinator called this afternoon to confirm dates

Buuuut, she said they cannot extend the dates - that it's MaW policy, and it can't be done? I told her we would obviously pay for our own accommodations, food, etc, beyond the wish dates, but she said no go.

I don't get it. It must be one of those chapter to chapter things. But it doesn't seem fair .. it's certainly not a "MAW" policy .. but apparently it's one of theirs. If it were super important .. I would ask to speak to someone over them. For me, it was a matter of being able to take our time and enjoy everything we wanted to without feeling rushed.

Hi!

I have been hard at work making some dining reservations, brushing up on my WDW, and learning about US/IoA!

This past weekend, I ran the Tinker Bell Half Marathon at Disneyland, and Gabby ran the 200m kids' race!

My older two ran the mile kids run...

....and that's about it. All quiet.

Hope everyone is doing well! I keep trying to catch up on other PTR's, but the boards are moving super slow for me!

I hate you cannot extend. I figured you could just call and change flights on the airfare or something like that That was what we planned on doing but I am betting we will run into the same thing,

FYI I talked to our lady and was told the same thing but she said we could call the airline and change our date back that way. There will be a fee but we will be abe to change. I am praying they put us on SW they don't charge change fees.

Interesting. My concern, though, is we were told we wouldn't even have our flight info until 2-3 weeks out. Maybe we can still make it work!

Not much to report. Without knowing our flight info, we're just kind of winging it. It goes against everything in my Type-A planning personality, but... I'm trying to go with it.

We've nailed down a tentative itinerary, saving the best parts for last...

Friday: Animal Kingdom
Saturday: Universal with my IL's
Sunday: rest, resort, hang out
Monday: Magic Kingdom
Tuesday: EPCOT, breakfast in Norway
Wednesday: Chef Mickey's, DTD, leave (boooooo)

I was waffling between breakfast at the castle, vs Norway. I've done both, and MUCH prefer the food in Norway. But, y'know... it's eating IN THE CASTLE.

Thoughts?!
