Gabby's Make a Wish trip!

Friday: Animal Kingdom
Saturday: Universal with my IL's
Sunday: rest, resort, hang out
Monday: Magic Kingdom
Tuesday: EPCOT, breakfast in Norway
Wednesday: Chef Mickey's, DTD, leave (boooooo)

I'm so happy to see you are planning a rest day at the resort! We extended our trip and STILL didn't plan a rest day at the resort, which we really regret! :sad2: The village is a once in a life time experience and there is so much we didn't get to do because I was trying to do so much in the parks that first week. That was our biggest regret of the trip!

Interesting. My concern, though, is we were told we wouldn't even have our flight info until 2-3 weeks out. Maybe we can still make it work!

Not much to report. Without knowing our flight info, we're just kind of winging it. It goes against everything in my Type-A planning personality, but... I'm trying to go with it. :hippie: :rotfl:

We've nailed down a tentative itinerary, saving the best parts for last...

I was waffling between breakfast at the castle, vs Norway. I've done both, and MUCH prefer the food in Norway. But, y'know... it's eating IN THE CASTLE.

Thoughts?!

Great plans! We've never eaten in the Castle but have in Norway .. we did dinner and the food was sort of weird. But I bet breakfast would be real cool. :thumbsup2

Joining in on your pre-trippy! I personally like both the castle and Norway for breakfast, the deciding factor for my daughter is Do you want a your included keepsake photo with Cinderella (The castle) or Belle (Norway). My daughter will always choose Belle! So who would your daughters choose?

Quick update....

we have no new information :lmao:. Our wish coordinator is keeping everything a super-duper secret, and said we won't have any details until 1.5 weeks out. That's a little terrifying for this type-A Disney planner.

In the meantime, my husband and I ran a local half marathon benefiting Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, and Team Gab raised $6,986 for PCRF!

There was another team there running for Gabby, as well, and they raised over $2,000 as well :lovestruc

Gabby is doing really well, which.... is good news/bad news. Good: She's responded perfectly to treatment. Bad: she's responded so well, they upped her chemo dosages. We're getting used to the new levels, and only had a few days of nausea/puking/lethargy. Take that, leukemia!

Oh, also, her hair.... after she lost it the second time, last year, it grew in beautiful and curly.

And then she cut it into a mullet. :scared1:

We were BEYOND excited to hear we were selected to participate in the Big Give :goodvibes

I can't even express how much of a blessing this is for us!

We got our first package yesterday. The girls were pretty stoked for their Mickey Mail....

Officially less than one month out! :cool1: pixiedust:

We got some more Mickey Mail today

On our way home from the playground tonight, Gab fell and cut her leg - pretty gnarly, and she's at the ER getting stitches :sad1:

We didn't have a chance to open the Mickey Mail today, but I'm sure it'll help brighten her day tomorrow :goodvibes

Poor kidlet, her sisters have never even had so much as an ear infection :sad2:
