I have an update from Nancy

Apparently they had a horrible snow storm in their area and are currently without power. She will be back to take care of this one as soon as she can!

I am back
50 hours of no power It never got over 30 degrees outside and down to 46 inside.
14" of snow....broke a lot of tree branches. 59,000 homes in our county without power...and of course because we are out in the sticks, we are one of the last to get it back.
Now we need to dig out, to get out of the driveway (1/3 mile). Still 10" on the ground.
We even had NO mail delivery Monday and no newspaper Monday or Tuesday!!

I'm glad you're back on board. Sorry to hear about your troubles....you have had a memorable autumn, weatherwise. I hope this is just an unusual year. That 1/3 of a mile driveway sounds daunting to me, even with a snowblower. I hope you have one, and the fuel for it.

Usually snow here is very wet and heavy....not sure it would blow.
this time it is light and dry....and we are finally above freezing, so hopefully it will go away soon. We are down to 8"
