We have friends there now.. arrived on July 1st for 8 nights and they have not complained at ALL about getting into the parks. They are there before rope drop too. This is a busy week I am sure with the holiday.

So glad to hear that. Although, I really chose the wrong thread to jump on, as one it is dated, and two my concern was more around handling the crowds not so much the delay itself. My bad all the way around. I'll go for a walk now lol
Since the thread was started during the time of the switchover from the old turnstiles to the new ones (and now you only have the new ones in the parks), it isn't very relevant at all.
Well, you were quoting a situation from June 2013, which I've not heard nearly has many complaints since that time. Park entrance methods have changed significantly, and I don't know what frustrating issues you had in March, but we were there in August, November, and this past April, and had no issues at all other than a kinked up feed hose to the toilet in our VWL 1BR.

Blimey! I wondered why they were talking about pulling FPs instead of making them! That's why.
We found the new entrances to be faster to get in in February. On our last full day we went to EPCOT and the line stretched back miles! We figured everyone had the plastic passes not MBs and couldn't work out how to use the scanners.
