I think what this really shows is be careful in what you buy. I have seen far too many posts about folks picking up "cheap" timeshares to use to trade into DVC. The problem with that is what works today, may or may not work tomorrow. Some people did this with II traders and then were not happy when DVC left for RCI. DVC could (not saying they will, but could) up and leave RCI and go back to II. It could even be that eventually, DVC makes use of BVTC and just handles exchanges on it's own with other like systems (wouldn't that be great?).So basically, this means that it is great to own at DVC if you love going there, which I do. Love Disney.
Again, if you buy a timeshare, you should be willing to stay there (or in that system) for a majority of stays, or you could find yourself very disappointed.
