FW-WL Pool

Gee, I guess we happen to be the only people to have stayed at FW and had to SIGN our name to a piece of paper that mentioned no pool hopping allowed even at WL. To me, at least, it meant NO POOL HOPPING, period.

As far as DVC pool hopping, where allowed, it is only when staying at a DVC Resort on POINTS. Even when staying at FW on points, pool hopping is not allowed.

Even though it is hard to believe, there ARE RVers who stay at FW and other campgrounds who are snobs.

who gives a crap, if the fort pool is closed, we are goin to the wilderness lodge.

You all are so sweet! I'm gonna get all choked up now! It's true about Rog, though! I was just thinking about that the other day and started to remind him! He was so out there! With his Bourbon St job and all his rough talk. He had this avatar that would alone scare you! Then Rhonda awarded him a get out of jail free card! I mentioned that he scared me and that was the best thing to say because we started talking on these boards and I realized that he is truelly a genuine and loveable guy. I'm looking forward to the day when I can meet him in person and share a Kungaloosh!

Rog is about -15 in get out of jail free cards.

The only reason we are nice to Pixie, is that she was a nun until she got pregnant and drunk, then thrown out of the convent.

Closed??? Heck no....Our new spokes person will all be introducing our new Themed Pool...The Above ground pool!!!!! Every Trailer Park has an above ground pool.....

Yeah, yeah. And the hills are alive with the sound of music, too.

that's where you are.... there's no singing here pregnant flying nun

I also remember a time when pool hopping was actually permitted. We started visiting Disney back in '91. It was actually featured in their advertising. That all came to a stop when the Beach Club and Storm-Along Bay were built. In fact our first stay on Disney property was at the Caribbean Beach..love that resort!

DW doesn't swim and I've had my fill of water (grew up in Biloxi, Ms. and 20yrs in the Navy 10 of that aboard ships did me in :rotfl: ). We went to Typhoon Lagoon twice, River Country maybe two or three times when it was open and Blizzard Beach once IIRC when the boys were growing up and I took the sons to the FW pool when they were younger, but once they were teenagers they went, but IIRC I haven't been to a pool in the 10 to 15 years. Just not our thing anymore.

I know my kids are at our pool because Clif, from the snack bar, knows all 5 by name and what they want in their mugs. Ya can't get that service over by the blow hole!;)

we have pool hopped :cool1:

signed the papers saying no, we won't pool hop. heat my pool like their pools and i won't ;)

oh yeah, and what about a hot tub

we don't hear much degrading about campers. but, then again we never give them a chance. once the crowd breaks, whether it is a line or on a boat, etc. , people tend to make distance between us.

i am not sure if it is us telling the boat captain that there is water on the floor in the back of the boat. or the mooing of the cattle in the lines :woohoo:

oh yeah, us campers know how to have a good time :dance3:

Here be the spokespersons recreational vehicle, representing the finest in up to date amenities in the realm of camping today.

The kids have Camp Lazlo on in the background, I'm checking out the new FW Pool thread at DIS, and I come across this picture.
And then all I can think of is the Griswalds on Vacation :

"They're very nice tents.
The price includes
scenery and wildlife fun.

This seems like a nice place,
and it has a pool.

All right.

Would you fill that out?

Clark W. Griswold.
Do you want my address?

Please.

What do you need my address for?

We like to send out mailers.

- I can't wait to get in!
- Me, too.

Let's go get our bathing suits.

Disgusting!

You're too cheap to pay
for a hotel room.

Oh, Clark, this tent smells.

Edna, this is your tent."

:rotfl:

I say Lovey, are those FW'ers headed towards our pool?

there are no hills in Fl.

Gatordad--- you gotta go places other than FtW in Central Florida!!! Brooksville is loaded with hills! So's Ocala, Davenport, Clermont & Howie in the Hills (hence, the name). Next time you're at FtW - take a side trip up US 27 just north of Clermont to Lakeside Winery. Mmmmmmm good wine, and rolling hills. (Just no Rolling Rock Beer:lmao: )
