Hiding my face face in shame to say.......in over 10 visits to WDW, my DS8 and DD6 have never been to the "other side" of Epcot. Meaning...we go to the World Showcase and walk around, eat at GREAT restauanrts, and do the Kidscot at each country....but haven't done any of the attractions in the Land, The Living Seas, etc.
So in planning our upcoming trip....can anyone give me some "not to be missed" things to do with an 8 and 6 year old in Future World (or whatever it is called....LOL!!!!!).....sorry it just never interested me in the past, so we never got into the habit of going...but now with the kids...I feel I should expereince some of it with them!!!!!

Thanks in advance!!!!

"Honey I shrunk the Audience" has got to be one of the best rides in all of WDW and it never gets any play.

Better than Test Track IMHO.

The two new attractions should not be missed and they will be fine for your children
1. Soarin - in The Land -
2. Turtle Talk - in The Living Seas - this is a must for kids

Also Spaceship Earth. If your kids don't scare easily I'd make sure to see Energy (dinosaurs) and Test Track (part of this ride is very fast).

When my kids were young they always loved Imagination, however, that has changed since then and I'm not sure how much kids enjoy it now. We also always liked Cranium Command in the Wonders of Life, but that was closed when we were there earlier this month. Body Tours is also in the Wonders of Life - this is similar to Star Tours in MGM. Honey I Shrunk the Audience also comes to mind

I think Mission Space is too intense for kids.

Try http://allearsnet.com/tp/ep/ep.htm this may give you all the info you want

THe Innovations East and West building have some great interactive exhibits, computers, experimantal videos games, etc. Test Track is also really good.

Ice Station Cool is a fun free exhibit where you can taste different Coke products from around the world. Be sure to tell your kids to take a big swig of the delicious BEVERLY soda!! It is in the big igloo near Innoventions West
You dd might like the Neslte Jr Chef program at The Land (Near Sunshine Food) where she can make cookies. Maybe your ds can ride Livin with the Land or something, or maybe he would like it too!
Look for the talking trashcan in Future World, near the Electric Umbrella restaurant, next to Innoventions.
Look for the talking water fountains:
three fountains that will talk back to you: 1) Face the "Fountain of Nations" with Spaceship Earth behind you. The talking water fountain is outside Mouse Gear, on your left. 2) There's another to the right of the magic/play fountain between World Showcase and Future World. 3) The third is behind Innoventions West, near the restroom.
Your kids will LOVE TT! It's awesome!!
Have a great time!

Defintely take your kids to see Turtle Talk with Crush. We really enjoyed seeing that in the Living Seas. They will also like Soarin'. The sweetpea loves Test Track and Misson Space, but shes a daredevil.
