Fury Catamerans Cozumel- time to shop still?

I am leaning towards doing the Fury Catamerans in Cozumel but I am concerned that I won't have time to shop also. I don't do much shopping in Grand Cayman as they are kinda overpriced but I love shopping in Cozumel. (not sure I would want to do it at night though) so has anyone been able to shop before the Fury excursion or do you get back early enough to shop after?

We shopped a little in the morning, and then went back to the ship and got ready and did the Fury Catamaran. After our dinner (early seating) we put the kids in the clubs and headed back out. Some of the shops were closed, however, but not the T shirt shops, HRC, Carlos and Charlies, etc. The one jewelry store I wanted to check out was closed--I didn't want to walk that far in the morning. They supposedly had 1/4 carat ruby earrings for $35.
If you are a good fast walker you should be able to get some good morning shopping done. We had my mom with us, God bless her, and she slowed us down a little because of the heat and her artificial knees.
You will love that excursion!

We did the same thing - shopped in the morning, then went back to the ship, grabbed lunch and headed out on the Fury excursion (which we loved!) We had plenty of time for everything.

thanks sounds like a plan! Hopefully we will get cleared quickly, last time we were there (2 years ago) we were one of the "sick ships" and were not cleared to debark until like 11:00 the excursion meets around noon right?

We are planning to do this excursion in November. I'll let you know how it goes. I am planning to write a trip report!

Ann - I have the Fury Catamaran excursion booked on the 8/28 Magic and am planning on shopping before hand.. I will let you know how the timing works out.

It sounds like a fun excursion but I really wanted to pick up some jewelry and hate to choose one or the other...
